I have seen clouds
shaped like elephants,
sheep and kangaroos;
I’ve seen clouds
like leaves
warmed by the breeze
but no cloud
as beautiful as you.

You do know you write words that make women swoon, right?
Is swoon an American word for “Violently ill?”
Hahaha! You’re inspiring a new piece. Haven’t crafted it yet but I keep hearing:
If self deprication was an art
He’d be it’s master
Elephants in the same sentence as the beloved one and still so beautiful. I think I just swooned!
I spend a lot of time looking at clouds and trees, both of which I can see from my window. Thanks for the comment. Dave
